"We all love desk food, super convenient"

Author describes building a habit into 4 steps: cue, craving, response and reward. You crave food, you are craving for dopamine and endorphins that comes from eating. And that's what I needed whenever I felt stressed with work. That's when craving led to eating on desk, leading to lesser work stress.

This led to me eating on my desk. I somehow had clubbed my work and food together.

This not even led me crave food more times a day, it also made me unhealthy. I kind of started feeling dependent on certain kind of food items to work at my best capability.

Slowly changing this habit, making sure I don't eat on my desk has been a game changer for my health & stress management.
